From August 2023, our multi-brand probe repair laboratory will be listed by the UniHA purchasing group for 4 years. This is a landmark in our history! It&#8217;s a step in the right direction, both for our multi-brand catheter repair laboratory and for hospitals and clinics in France and its overseas departments and regions. But why is UniHA&#8217;s listing so important? There are several reasons, and we&#8217;ll explain them to you right now!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The UniHA central purchasing group<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With a turnover of 5.9 billion euros, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniha.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UniHA<\/a> is one of the three largest public purchasing organisations in France. But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/guillaume-soulier-3724a642\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guillaume Soulier<\/a>, founder and CEO of our multi-brand probe repair laboratory, is keen to explain what makes UniHA different: &#8220;It&#8217;s not a group purchasing organisation like the others. Established in 2005, it has its own specific characteristics. The biomedical part of the centre was designed by biomedical engineers and for biomedical engineers and technicians. As PRS Healthcare is a multi-brand probe repair laboratory, that&#8217;s really important to us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UniHA &amp; PRS Healthcare<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Guillaume Soulier makes an important point: &#8220;Still on the subject of the biomedical division, this is a central purchasing group that was founded on a non-market philosophy with the aim of providing a service to biomedical engineers. And we want to be the link between this purchasing centre on the one hand and the engineers on the other. We want to position ourselves in the pure tradition of biomedical engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PRS Healthcare for multi-brand probe repair<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At UniHA, PRS Healthcare now has the contract to repair multi-brand probes. &#8220;This is the first time that such a package has been offered at UniHA: there has never been one before. This proves that there was a real need,&#8221; explains Guillaume Soulier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We&#8217;ve been approved for 4 years, until October 2027, so we&#8217;re in it for the long haul. With UniHA, we can now support the 123 GHTs &#8211; Groupement Hospitalier Territoriaux &#8211; throughout mainland France, as well as in all French overseas departments and regions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The benefits of joining UniHA<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Like all group purchasing organisations, UniHA offers its services to its members. Joining UniHA offers several advantages:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Cost<\/strong>. As a member of a group purchasing organisation, you obviously benefit from preferential rates. But, as Guillaume Soulier points out, &#8220;the biomedical engineers who work for UniHA are largely volunteers. So when it comes to repairing probes, UniHA&#8217;s fees are very reasonable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Clear pricing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Simple administration<\/strong>. Being part of a central purchasing group reduces the amount of paperwork, which in turn speeds up the ordering process.
