We&#8217;ll tell you everything you need to know, down to the last detail.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/prs-healthcare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rse-1.png\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[gallery-e4kv]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-20033\" src=\"https:\/\/prs-healthcare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rse-1-300x250.png\" alt=\"rse CSR\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/prs-healthcare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rse-1-300x250.png 300w, https:\/\/prs-healthcare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rse-1.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The presentation<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As Medef Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes explains: &#8220;<em>In partnership with Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes Entreprises, Agefiph, The Climate Factory, Groupama Rh\u00f4ne Alpes Auvergne and Arthaud &amp; Associ\u00e9s, the 3rd edition of the MEDEF Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes CSR Trophies rewards initiatives developed by people belonging to all legal forms of private enterprise, regardless of size or sector of activity, which have had a positive impact on the development of eco-designed products or services<\/em>&#8221; .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this context, the 3rd edition of the Troph\u00e9es de la CSR rewards actions in two categories.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Environmental transition<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Disability<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/medef-aura.fr\/fr\/actualite\/trophees-de-la-rse-palmares-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Medef Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes CSR awards<\/a> went to 8 organisations out of 70 entries.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CSR trophy for PRS Healthcare<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our company already has a strong culture of corporate social responsibility, reflected in our commitment to the Agec law. That&#8217;s why it seemed natural for us to enter the &#8220;Environmental Transition&#8221; category of the award for the development of a global circular economy strategy in the industrial sector. To this end, our application highlighted all the initiatives we have taken to propose particularly innovative actions to develop a global circular economy strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The selection process<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are three selection criteria for this trophy, designed to recognise initiatives in the areas of :<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Conservation of resources and consumption of raw materials.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Diversifying and securing the local supply chain.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Reducing waste, promoting reuse and recycling.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CSR trophy ceremony<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Laurent Souef, CEO of PRS Healthcare, was presented with the trophy by Olivier Arthaud, founder and partner of Arthaud &amp; Associ\u00e9s, for developing a global circular economy strategy in the industrial sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A few words from Mr Laurent Souef<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On this occasion, Laurent Souef took the floor to explain the raison d&#8217;\u00eatre of our company: <em>&#8220;PRS Healthcare&#8217;s activity is based on an observation made during audits of our hospitals&#8217; ultrasound probe fleets. This showed that between 20% and 50% of the ultrasound probes were not functioning properly. These malfunctions are not necessarily major.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But it raised a number of questions for hospital management&#8230; And the alternative we were able to propose addressed several issues:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There&#8217;s obviously a diagnostic risk when you&#8217;re talking about a malfunction in a medical device.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There is also an economic risk. Medical imaging is a sector run by large international companies. The alternative proposed by these large companies is systematic replacement&#8230; And this solution comes at a cost: several thousand euros, even tens of thousands of euros for a hospital. What&#8217;s more, we are well aware of the financial difficulties facing our health system as a whole. Our alternative offers a 60-70% saving on the cost of the probe by repairing it. It&#8217;s a concrete and immediate response.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>Finally, there&#8217;s the carbon footprint. After identifying the transport and agriculture sectors as having very high carbon footprints, a Shift Project study last year pointed the finger at the healthcare sector. In particular, the purchase of medical equipment accounts for 20% of the healthcare sector&#8217;s emissions. So when we offer an alternative like ours, we&#8217;re in a true circular economy mode. In other words, all our technicians have been based in Sainte-Foy-L\u00e8s-Lyon for the 20 years the company has been in existence. It doesn&#8217;t make sense to ship a probe to Asia for repair and then bring it back, even though it&#8217;s been repaired. If you do it locally and create local jobs and efficient repairs, that&#8217;s ideal.
