The sleeve of a probe is the conical part at the base of the housing. This part is designed to prevent excessive twisting of your ultrasound probe cables.
In practice, the many examinations, the strain on the ultrasound probe cables and the use of aggressive disinfection products lead to frequent damage. The strain relief sleeves are often torn or ripped off and the cables are no longer protected.
Quick servicing allows this part to be replaced and your probe to be protected again.
