Repair of cardiac leads

The transthoracic ultrasound transducer is used for cardiac ultrasounds. It is a non-invasive technique for morphological and dynamic exploration of the heart using ultrasound. The ultrasound machine is equipped with an ultrasound probe, positioned on the patient’s chest for transthoracic echocardiography.

This can be distinguished from the transesophageal ultrasound, which is performed using a probe placed inside the esophagus itself. Transoesophageal ultrasound probes (TEE) are therefore used for this examination.

PRS Healthcare carries out repairs and maintenance on all types of cardiac ultrasound probes. We are able to replace cables, repair sleeves or repair bite marks on insertion tubes.
