The Philips S8-3 is a transesophageal probe. It offers a frequency range from 3 to 8 MHz, as well as a 90° field of view. This probe specialises in obtaining paediatric cardiac images and also in the foetus and adutle.
It is compatible with ultrasound scanners such as the IU22, HD11XE and IE33.
