Toshiba Aplio 400 Platinum

The Toshiba Aplio 400 Platinum is a more powerful system than the Aplio 400. It is more recent and offers more options, so it is an improved version. Like its predecessor, it can be used as a general or specialised system.
It offers broadly the same applications as the Aplio 400. For example, this ultrasound scanner can provide vascular, cardiac, transvaginal, paediatric and musculoskeletal images.

Description

Compared to the Aplio 500 Platinum, the Aplio 400 Platinum has removed 3 upgradeable options which are: Smart 3D, Speckle Resolution and Tissue Specific Optimization. It is, however, lighter than the Aplio 500, although still heavier than similar ultrasound scanners from competitors GE and Philips.
This ultrasound scanner offers superb microvascular imaging (MVI) which is an option that increases clinical productivity and diagnostic efficiency. And the MicroPure feature provides greater comfort and confidence in diagnosis.

The Aplio 400 Platinum supports a total of 47 probes. It is compatible with linear, convex, micro convex and transesophageal probes. In addition, 10 other probes allow for improved intraoperative and biopsy performance, which improves productivity in radiology.
User-selectable options include 4D for motor-driven volume transducers, smart navigation sensors, 2D wall motion tracking and smart fusion.
